Laos
Lao People's Democratic Republic, is a landlocked country in Southeast Asia, bordered by Myanmar and China to the northwest, Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the south, and Thailand to the west. I went by air from Hanoi to Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang  is known for its 65 Buddhist temples. Every morning, hundreds of monks from the various monasteries walk through the streets collecting alms (sticky rise). It is compulsory for every schoolboy at the age of 12 to stay at least 7 days as a munk. Many poor families send their boys here for a chanse to be educated.
